Sets: István Oldal
Directed and choreographed by Panni Somi
Chakramala is a iece of jewellery that represents the completeness, harmony, and perfection of the universe through gems, each of which represents a chakra. It contains seven stones of seven colours and seven symbols. There are seven chakras: seven qualities, seven aspects of a body, an individual and a world. They represent seven approaches to get to know the world, and seven gates into the desired unknown. Chakramala is a dance play with Indian inspiration. It is a play with colours, emotions, and the unknown. The play consits of seven episodes, each reflecting the colour, mood, quality, attitude and temperament of an individual chakra, seeking its antipode that would complete it, and its place in the whole.
